Soaring Readers is a structured literacy program based on the Science of Reading.We are knowledgeable about teaching reading, empathetic to the individual needs of each client, and dedicated to building confidence in our learners. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, and warm environment where kids will feel uplifted and accepted as they are.

Every single child deserves the chance to read!
This is why I am extremely passionate and dedicated to teaching reading. I have spent the past multiple years completely immersed in learning about the Science of Reading and how our brains learn to read. I have been teaching for 12+ years and have been a literacy mentor to teachers around the city. I am Orton Gillingham trained and have taken several Science of Reading courses. Many education systems are not using evidence-based resources, which reflects in the high number of children who are reading below grade level. Every child can learn to read, and every brain learns to read the same way by following the Science of Reading.
